Souness is a tool of the highest order "Man United can feel hard done by, they had all the shots"

We had 7 on target to their 4.

Funny when Chelsea scrape a 1-0 its all genius Mourinho, controlling the game without the ball, he wins big games etc. When we do the same but better with a 3-0 scoreline its all 'United dominated but plucky Everton did well from set pieces and on the counter'. This one will stick in Sky's throat so we'll have to get used to how they re-write this game over the next few weeks.

haha, seriously how do you defend against it. you step up to play the striker offside, he is offside, he runs towards the ball so you think he's interfering with play so you stop and then he runs away from it, but into a goalscoring position. ha.

if mirallas squares it to him to tap it in, how is he not interfering with play? haha

He made a slight movement towards the ball but didn't go to actually play it so it was right to allow play to go on.

If United defence haven't learnt by now not to stop and appeal for an offside rather than play on until the ref blows his whistle thats their problem, it's not a problem with the rules.

If they'd have carried on and cleared the ball, then the offside was given, then they should do that. If they play on and clear the ball and the offside isn't given, they should do that.

If they haven't figured out by now that just cause one player is in an offside position but not active it doesn't mean another play can't play the ball thats their fault.

It's quite straight forward 99% of the time if people bother to actually look at the rules on the FA website.

Look at number 3, it clearly explains how Lukaku should not have been penalised. If only Uniteds defence had looked at this prior to the game they'd have been no issue.
