They think Mirallas goal was offside on Redcafe hahaha

LEARN THE RULES OF THE GAME YOU BAD TOSSERS

Ball played to Lukaku and he made a move towards the ball before stopping. Under last seasons rules, probably offside. But these days you have to touch the ball, so not offside

What impressed me most was how well the players managed the game. We didn't allow the game to be stretched at any point which would have suited United. As a result they were quite pedestrian when they had the ball and quite slow.

Yeah mate! I don't make it on here for every game like, but just had to come on today to sing the praises of one of our best performances this season. It's nice to take the scalp on one of the traditional Top 4 teams again. Things are really looking up now for next season, with just a bit of strengthening needed in midfield and up front.
shows what a bit of confidence can do, get a couple of new faces in, decent pre-season, there you go, bob's your uncle/manager

Funny when Chelsea scrape a 1-0 its all genius Mourinho, controlling the game without the ball, he wins big games etc. When we do the same but better with a 3-0 scoreline its all 'United dominated but plucky Everton did well from set pieces and on the counter'. This one will stick in Sky's throat so we'll have to get used to how they re-write this game over the next few weeks.

I refer you to an excellent thread on this forum outlining exactly this

It wouldn't have been offside last season either, you can make a step or two towards it but if you check your run then you're showing no intent to go for the ball. The defenders should play a high line in an offside trap, but always turn and race back to cover the ball whether they think the man is offside or not.

Completely a defensive error and a definite, legit goal.

doesn't matter, they still wouldn't have given offside :p actually they probably would have because lukaku was still standing offside the useless chunt haha.

i will always stand by the fact i think it's a terrible rule, whether it benefits us or goes against us.
I know. trying to explain rules of offside to my son yesterday but it's hard my day and modern day, 1st phase 2nd phase etc etc who cares we scored.
