Just because it's Man City mate,it shouldn't be looked at as a free pass for Silva, he still should be scrutinised (along with the players) if we're crap and get beat.

I agree completely.

The wider world and the media will just shrug their shoulders and see the result as inevitable.

I don't think any loss should be a free pass, that's where complacency sets in (I think it did within the club not the fan base a long time ago).

I just wish he would try something different and what I was trying to say is not many would blink an eye if we got beat, so why not try something new.

It's not a secret that I don't rate him, and if it was any other game I would want Sigurdsson volleyed to the bench, but I actually think today may suit him more, City with injuries at the back, he'll get loads of space, even better for him if Kean starts.

My thoughts exactly, I thought a defeat against City could be softened by an Ireland win and the hope that they could go through to final.
I have a bad feeling about this City team, they could really expose us. Let's be honest, they aren't going to be too worried about our razor sharp front line.
The only prediction I have is that City will be awarded at least one penalty.
