The inconsistent application of VAR will drive more and more fans away. Feel for those fans who have paid hard earned to be cheated out of - at the very least - the ref being invited to take another look at something the whole ground, Rodri and most of the players thought was a penalty.

I'm a huge believer in player reactions, Rodri knew when that ball span up that he had controlled it with his arm. He knew it, you could see it on his face.

But, why isn't the ref asked across to look again? Will anyone explain the process? Will they heck. The Sky, scab six roadshow can roll on.

I hate modern football, absolutely hate it.

Lets not hear anyone try to kid us, that was a penalty all day long.

But, to stay positive; that's the kind of performance we need to see in every game between now and the end of the season. We've just given city their hardest game of the year, we have to do that again and again and again before the season's end.

No hiding in the next match. Play hard and get up the table. Performances like that and we'll be safe in no time

very positive for the lads - if only we saw that away from home too. The penalty was a disgusting decision - the ground clearly saw it, how come VAR did not. Disgusted.

Overall. I'd say that was the most solid performance under Lampard, that we got robbed is immaterial, let's be honest, we didn't expect much from this game anyway.
Onwards and upwards, we play like that for the next 5 games and we will be grand.
