Worth noting we went down with 35 points then and needed 37 to stay up. Barring a miraculous upturn in form of everyone else around us then it could be as low as 28-30 points to stay up this season. Different times but it's still a scary fact for sure

Yeah i agree, fine margins a couple years kept aston villa up basically by one game, when they played Sheffield United and didn't have goal line tech on which lead to a clear goal being denied to united, and that game was crucial in villa not being relegated.

Go look at the fixtures. A stat based league prediction has Leeds 18th with 27 points. It's possible. It had us on 36 or 38 points.

As I say go look at the fixtures. It prob won't be 28 dead on but I'd say between 28-32 points

I wish we would keep playing the ball on the floor more because we don't have anyone that strong in the air and we always seem to lose out on headers when we lob the ball.

It would actually be unlikely for all five of those teams to suddenly turn their form around and beat their record over the past two thirds of the season.

On the other hand, we have 0.91 points per game thus far.

I have 18th on about 34 or 35. Teams at the bottom tend to pick up near the end of the season when it gets desperate. I think 28 points as a marker is way off.
