Leeds and Brentford aren’t getting 1 point per game from their remaining games.

Leeds have conceded 20 goals in 5 games and have 1 point from their last 6.

Brentford have 1 point from their last eight…
Leeds are an unknown if they change manager. Brentford look in freefall but will still win a couple more.

We need 34 or 35 points to have a good chance of staying up.

Can’t fault much there, first half good, second half we restricted them to a fluke goal.
I enjoyed the effort, just a shame we got robbed.
Please keep the effort up though, be arsed with us folding away at Spurs next week which we obviously will. The players are better than they think they are and can win away from home

If you get relegated (or win a trophy for that matter) by a fine margin, then fine margins matter.

The point is that a club of our size should not be anywhere near the margin of error for those margins to relegate us.

If a club the size of Everton is relegated, it's because of deep dysfunction and the incessant accumulation of systemic mismanagement - not because of a bent ref. The big picture here is that if, after 37 games, we find ourselves in the margin of error and vulnerable to a referee's decision after spending half a billion pounds, then we have been mismanaged to oblivion. We have huge financial advantages over Norwich, Watford, Leeds, Burnley and Brentford - so if any of those benefit from any bad refereeing decision that, in the end, can be seen, in isolation, to relegate us, then those that ran this club can have few complaints.

What gets me with these officials, not just their arrogance but how they made out to be doing something so difficult that any criticism results in fines and suspensions. There are many tougher jobs than refereeing professional football matches particularly if you use sense and lose the ego.

You’re talking like they’re mutually exclusive. They’re not.
