Taped the match. What a nice result. Would be halarious if Spurs pip them for 4th now. Nice to see us take a chance by taking Hibbo off. On another day against a squad who could finish we might have gotten destroyed but not today. Now I know why only 1800 City fans showed up, they knew they were done today.

Thought even Anichebe played well. He had to hold the line with 0 support in the 1st half and gave Lescott (not that this is difficult now) and Kompany fits. Showed alot of effort while having to play 2 positions and didn't pout as well.

OSMAN....Duncanesque.

Kind of rooting for Chelsea today so we could cause them to lose the title in 2 weeks.

Oh awesome. So, so good.

I was pleasantly surprised at Vic today along with everyone else, but Beckford wasn't bad either...But most of all, we played with so much gumption in the second half it was tremendous.

Is Distin really in his early 30s? I know he is, but goodness he looks so good out there. He has held up so well.

Jags had a great game. Heitinga didn't do so bad either really!

But Leon Osman - we luv you.

(Other notes: Rodwell really hasn't been playing well of late has he? Arteta still looks like a lame duck who shouldn't be earning the highest salary on the squad. I'm officially worried for him for next season. What was up with our weird set pieces all day long? Just take them for the love of god! Bily on the bench = Bily being sold in the summer.)

Ebepton, I luv you. So happy.

He must be the best lame duck I've ever seen. No surprise that his move into central midfield completely changed how we played in the second half, and we had someone we could trust in possession, aswell as a player willing to take the ball under pressure, and give the back four an outlet. I'm all for contructive criticism, but he's almost becomming underrated amongst Evertonians.

But hey, he can't run really fast in a straight line like Landy Donovan can, what a shame.

What, a strange, strange game. They played us off the pitch for 45 minutes, and as lcab said, they conspired to shoot themselves in the foot, apart from two individual displays of brilliance.

I expected at least 1 more from City after the break, i hate you Everton
I love you Everton.

Wish it made sense.

Another thread has reported the full time bust up thus;

Kolorov elbowed Seamus as they were leaving the pitch, to which Seamus reacted angrily. A few of our players then got involved. Brian Kidd tried to act as peace maker, as did Neville at first, but then Mancini made a comment to Phil which made him blow his top. Don't know exactly what was said, but Mancini is well known for his snidey little comments.

Now for the best bit.....Lescott tried to get in between Seamus and Kolorov to calm things down, and Seamus lashed out at him as well. Someone then told Seamus that Joleon was ok, and was a made, to which Seamus replied "He ain't my f***ing mate!"

Hahaha...go ed Seamus

This is from the Blue Room. Its also alleged that Neville flashed his badge at the ****tee supporters who were well narked.

Well done lad, even if it was more a Manure type of thing.

Maybe if they spend another 100M, they might have a team good enough to get a point from us!

I think Seamus was going to tag Duncan in. So Citeh went home.

Er what? I wasn't even comparing him to Landon - they are totally different players with different favored positions, and it's unfair for you to go there as I never even mentioned him in my post. Notice I heap praise on Osman, who has played better than Arteta this season imo.

I know he has been amazing in the past, but this season Arteta has yet to regain form. You cannot say that he has based on this past weekend's game. Based on his form, he shouldn't be earning his salary NOW, but I understand his quality and his skill - I've seen replays from previous seasons thanks to Brownie - and it could always come back. All I'm commenting on is Arteta is STILL off. And that worries me going into next year. Am I ****ging him off and calling for his head, no. I'm just saying his continued lack of form is freaking me out.

(Oh, and that guy that supposedly only runs in a straight line just scored again this past weekend. 4 goals in 3 games, and frankly, could have been 5, but hey, guess we don't need those.)

EDIT: That got asterisked???? Wow. Different language we have.

I think I've just found some new kind of man love level for Coleman
