that was a pretty tragic united team we just played there, it must be said. Two great strikes, but they were all over us second half and when you're looking at it, they had only a couple of good players on the field, we shouldn't have allowed that to happen imo.

we can't expect to go toe-to-toe but we can expect aggression and fight and for the first 20 minutes in the 2nd half, there was none
when we did have some, we threatened, but lacked the quality to get the goal, and they punished a mistake from us to kill the game

I can't get me head around us starting that second half so far back. They barely troubled us all first half. Why revert to being cowards, we weren't getting overrun or anything.

I slated the change but McCarthy coming on improved us massively - gave us energy and bite in midfield that pushed us on and got the crowd roaring

Long 5 months ahead. This squad is appalling and SA knows it. He's doing what he does - choosing his matches and writing those off that he expects to lose, at best draw - Mancs / FA cup / Spurs. He will get us to 40 points, achieve his bonus then discuss with FM whether he stays or goes. Likely goes with a big pay off. Sad state of affairs but the EFC recruitment team and RK have brought this on the club. It's the fans that have to suck it up and suffer. Totally gutless apart from 5 mins at home against a very average United team.
