I slated the change but McCarthy coming on improved us massively - gave us energy and bite in midfield that pushed us on and got the crowd roaring

@Norwegian Cow is spot on with that, you're the clueless one if you're saying otherwise
Loved that shot on target when we made that change. It was negative and it would have only been acceptable if he then took off Davies or Morgan at the same time for Siggy. It didn't improve us massively at all though as we didn't even look like scoring.

Disappointing result but considering we don't really have many actual footballers, I thought we had a decent go at a far, far better team today.

We still have the exact same squad we've had all season and a lot of them are simply not good enough or shouldn't be playing every week, there's still not a good balance to the team and our attacking force consists of a youngster who isn't ready to lead that line every game and another who wouldn't even be at the club if someone was willing to buy him. It really is a case of just trying to get through the season and rebuilding for next, it feels like it could be a good few years of rebuilding to get us in a position to compete at a level we thought we were at just a few seasons ago too.

There was a debate on here not long ago: Morgan vs James.
The correct answer was neither.
Having seen the two on the pitch together, Morgan is a continental version of James Mc.
Except Morgan is twice the price and half the player. At least JM isn't a bottler.
The only times MS looks good is when the team is playing well.

I would have Morgan as my 7th choice midfielder. He is at the peak of his career. He will never get any better.
The mind boggles.

Never mind lads. Just a few more months of pain ahead.

We did. We had three chances - two blocked off the line and Niasse missed a relative sitter

He should have brought Gylfi on while we were on top - which was the 70th through to the 80th.

We fell asleep for a minute and conceded. Game over.
