I can never accept this man and this football. IIm coming over again for WBA cause it's booked long in advance. But after that I need a break. This is not an everton team nor an everton manager.

..if he wasn’t here there is a very good chance we’d be detached at the bottom by now. I can’t think of anybody who’d have got the same points return with this group of players.

never want to see holgate rb again, keane ever again or schneiderlin again. vlasic not ready to start yet either. need a new striker, a new cb, a new lb, a new cm.. too much quality is lacking in this team for us to keep clean sleets AND play good offensive football.

Yup, pretty much a summer rebuild. And expect next season too to be poor, but with a better direction.

Problem is, how many years have we been saying that now? Probability of a logical and organised rebuild <25%. Unless Moshiri gets ruthless- and not just with the manager.

Today was ideal to play these, man utd havent been brilliant, but we once again made othe team we are playing look better than what they are,no good with as many forwards we can play at once,if people dont create chances etc

When I first saw the side he put out I thought that he’s just plucking names from a hat, he then used the same hat for his substitutions.........bleeding shambles.......

Davies shot from Holgate pull back - Rojo or Jones blocked it about two/three yards out. De Gea wouldn't have got there.

Williams shot from Vlasic's corner - hit a United player but was definitely on target.

Not good enough but McCarthy coming on wasn't a 'defensive' change as he pushed us up the pitch.
tbf he didn't say off the goal-line !

Keep Pickford, Kenny, Coleman and sell every single one of the rest of the wasters on our books.

so much could have been done to improve us this summer, unfortunately koeman were totally useless in bringing the right players in. a huge chance went missing.

It must be awful for our players to play in front of our home fans at times.

For the first 5 minutes of the game we were all over United , playing good stuff and had them on the back foot. Then Rooney hit a cross field ball from the main stand side of the pitch towards Bolasie, could have been a good ball but it was slightly overhit.

Mata jumped on and intercepted, and the entire bullens road started hysterically shrieking at Rooney and you physically saw his shoulders drop.

It was the same under Martinez to the point John Stones was actively telling the park end to pack it in , and it happened at the start of the season this season and the players just seemed to down tools. See Ashley Williams celebrating a goal by just staring into the Gwladys.

These players are mostly in their 20’s with a few more experience players having been club captains elsewhere , are we blinkered enough to be thinking that they’re looking at themselves and saying we should be playing better for this people?

I would bet every penny I have to my name that this squad of players talk between themselves and hate playing in front of our fans, genuinely. I know for a fact if I was playing football and getting screamed at and hysterically wailed at then I would think the same.

It didn’t happen so much under Moyes but even then there was incidents of Moyes himself telling the street end to do one when we scored after we had been booing his subs.

The last time this club was regularly winning trophies was in the 80’s and even then it’s not like we were the dominant team in the U.K. This divine right of the “everton way” needs to stop. We’ve been crap my whole life and I’m 27, what’s the Everton way for me? Surviving relegation on the last day? Finishing 4th with ugly football?

Why weren’t we screaming at our own players that season? That wasn’t the Everton way was it. It’s embarassing

Fans fault we lost. Crazy thinking. The fans were sound. This Everton team does not use them. Spell of pressure and Goodison is rocking, then some tit in the Everton side volleys it out for no reason, pressure gone, fans gone.

Can't believe the street end.never got on the pitch and kicked the ball in the united goal.

The difference was in the quality of players today, and the manager can’t be blamed for that. Thought all our players put a shift in but just couldn’t cope with them at times.

Pogba run the show and reffed the match. McCarthy made a difference when he came on. Need him to stay fit and swerve playing for Ireland for a while.

God only knows what happened at half time. We weren't bad in first half - came out after the break absolutely fast asleep.

Jose pushed Uniteds midfield up, condensed the space we had in the first half, and we just left Niasse upfront without the where with all to get round them. Once we decided to push them back and get a bit stuck in, we enjoyed some good spells. Then they scored a really good 2nd goal.

Bigger picture.

Fans fault half our team doesn’t give a [Poor language removed] about playing for our shirt.
