Everton v MK Dons

Great interview from Ron there, very honest and hopefully that is a sign of a good manager with high expectations! Performance was as you would expect, for me Holgate impressed when he came on, Delofeu covered a lot of ground but could do with a Lukaku to run off up top, Besic is beast, Baines looks sharper than last season and we have some potential within our youth set up!

On the down side McGeady is finished at Everton, Oviedo looks very nervous and hesitant when in possession, must be the injury, psychologically I guess hard to put that behind you, but needs to if he can. We do need a keeper!

Otherwise happy with a none too exciting but worthwhile game time and run out!

I am putting my neck on the line to say exciting things are happening at our club and the future is very bright indeed!

I agree about McGeady. He did get more to the pace of the game after a while but, crikey, MK Dons 'Geads. You should be better than that. Oviedo did OK I thought. He was clattered a couple of times off the ball and got nothing from Mike Dean. Keeper did OK as well.

Overall, it was nice to see us try to play the game in the opponents half. With a bit more movement at times it could be an interesting season........
