...thought the managers comments about wanting more from his defensive midfielders was interesting. Moyes and Martinez were the opposite in wanting Barry in a very restrictive role. Indeed, when Fellaini was tried Moyes said he was finding it very difficult to discipline himself to cover a very small area of the pitch. Similarly at Sunderland, Cattermole said he found it difficult.

I'm happy with Koeman's comment but it will be interesting how this plays out, we looked particularly open through the middle last night so it will be about getting the balance right.

Very happy with Koeman not being satisfied with the performance last night. Imagine Martinez still being in charge, it'd be "phenominal" this, and "exceptional" that. He'd have probably labelled Holgate as having played with "unbelievable arrogance", etc.

Ron never stopped having a go from the touch line. It was great. Whipping 'em into shape. I got one am excited about the future. He does not settle for mediocrity which Martinez thrived in.

Bollocks saying Oviedo's injury is the problem... Perhaps he just not good enough? He's had some good games but has never stood out or even been tested on a regular basis.

I would like to think the club is trying to move Oviedo on...he's not good enough.

I am so relieved he's gone. Listening to all his BS appears it may be Hull's fans' problem now.

honestly don't think I watched a single interview in his last season, if we got ralf rangnick when we had the chance we would be thinking about champs league right now, no doubt in my mind

...only issue I'd have with Ralf is that he appears a little prone to soft tissue injuries.
