i would never leap in the air as a goalie, he was hardly gonna chip him, cisse tried to chip him, its hard to pull off

drill it hard and low is what i would do, if he stayed low would have been safe.

Can't ****ing believe that. Referee was an absolute ****, and the linesman was even worse. Awful defending to throw away the lead and Tim Howard was poor. Fuming.

Want to smash something

The dogs are giving me a wide berth, having seen me throwing stuff round the living room like an irate toddler. I don't know where to direct my fume first. I've always tried to maintain that officials make far fewer mistakes than most players but I'd be saying it through gritted teeth tonight. That said, it took less then 10 secs to show on both occasions that those two disallowed goals should have stood and something needs to be done. Howard should have stopped the first, I can't see it as anything other than poor keeping. He did make a good save from Ben Arfa later on but all the same it was poor.

I can't help but feel that Moyes has been found wanting tactically again. We were in complete control in the first half, Newcastle changed it, the game opened up and he did nothing to help us wrest back control. Distin and Jags were suddenly in a game and we went from playing good pass and move football to largely lumping it to Vic and Felli. Vic doesn't put pressure on the defenders through his movement, and that's not really Felli's game either. Suddenly their back 4 had a bit of time on the ball. This isn't meant as a criticism of Vic, more of the tactics we employed when bringing him on. How Moyes can't see that Osman disappears from the game after 60 mins is beyond me. Neville was poor, and I feel that's a generous assessment. I know people feel that Felli is best utilised further up the pitch, but with Naismith, Mirallas, Pienaar and Osman all capable of playing in an advanced position, whilst Gibson is injured Felli should sit because he's the best option that we have. Neville shouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI on that showing. I hope that Jelavic isn't badly injured because imo him going off was just as influential as Ba coming on.

fellaini back in midfield for the time being vic/naismith in behind jelavic who i'm praying is not too badly injured.

Neville starts against Swansea. It's not even up for debate. He starts and plays 90 minutes against Swansea.

I'm convinced Moyes does it on purpose. He has one of the worlds best box to box midfielders in Fellaini, yet he plays Neville in that role and sticks the Belgian up front to hoof at.

If Neville is playing at Swansea, I'll forget the match and go and cut the grass. Even if it's teeming down
