I think people just instantly jump on the lads back if we draw/lose sometimes out of habit. He showed tonight he can cut it at this top level though.

I said earlier on in the season all opinions on Vic should be under review pending this season, because he was excellent last year. 6 goals in hardly any minutes, and some crucial ones too. Whether he can do similar in more time is the question, but one he deserves the chance to answer.

Scored 2 legit goals in basically one half of football. Very unlucky for him but the one that was given was great -- strength and then a lovely finish. Almost Drog... nah, I won't go there yet!

Fuming at the idiotic supporters who are blamin the officials, yes they were wrong but we should have been 2 up by half time instead we let them basically dominate us 2nd half.

I wish Neville would be dropped, he has been poor every game this season. I think Felli needs to drop deep while Gibbo is out.
We were robbed by the officials. Should've had 4 goals. I thought Anichebe did well for his goals but other than that he didn't seem to do much. Hopefully Jeli is okay for the next game.

i think myself Distin is past it, the RS semil final back pass plus tonight and West Brom game jags also
plus there is no keeper at the club who is after Howards spot and he knows it sh.t again tonite

Distin was class last year and first 2 games of this, bit of a knee jerk this imo

"I've seen the Marouane Fellaini offside call, and the Victor Anichebe goal-line call a few times now, and I still can't call them 100% either way.Steven Taylor's back foot looks like he is playing Fellaini onside, but the rest of his body is playing him offside! And about 90% of the ball looks over the line. It's a good job that I'm not an official."

From the BBC. My God.

He stood out for me, constantly giving it away in possession and either ruining attacks or putting in such a piss poor shot that he may as well have back heeled each chance.

Oh man, that shot he took from Pienaar's pass that went wide. Terrible.

I just can't see myself pointing the blame at anyone. So many players were poor in the second half. Especially Jagielka, Mirallas, and Howard.

The team just played badly, just let Newcastle have a go.

F*cking 7th in the table now. We'll get dicked by Swansea at their place over the weekend and we'll start to slip down.

We really really really needed to win that. Gutted.

the guy on the BBC live commentary says he still can't tell if the whole ball is over the line? what is he looking at seriously. he also says steven taylor's foot is playing felli onside, but the rest isn't - yeah that means onside you absolute pleb
