Newcastle have won 6 games all season but have done the double over us. I fully expect Leeds to do the same next week
A lot of people now expecting that...so it probably won't happen. Everton's propensity to bollocks things up (aka, the 'Everton that' phenomenon) depends on them being blisteringly undependable. It's a very ironic thing.

Someone said earlier we had only one player missing from that being our best team (not sure about that tbh), but how bad must the rest of the squad be if that’s the best we can serve up? Deadwood everywhere.

I disagree. I think they are entirely dependable and predictable. Leeds to win

Sure up the midfield as Iwobi was doing next to nothing

Yeah, but Gomes wasn't exactly a game-changer and it seemed like more of a defensive move at 0-0. I'm aware that Iwobi was a non-entity but he helped to spread out the horse-puncher defense. We got fewer chances on the other side with Digne once Gomes was in and we decided to play more directly.

His interview was embarrassing. Had he have run the gauntlet of an angry crowd instead of getting away with it like this, he might have skipped the interview.

Someone ought to put a match to it... and quick before it rots the whole joint!

Is it me or do we always seem worse when we have had a rest. Terrible against Leicester and Newcastle after long spell off due to postponements.

Wasn't there another game we was awful in when we had an unexpected extra few days rest. West Ham maybe?

Seem to play better when momentum and games come thick and fast.

Today was embarrassing. Didnt threaten a terrible Newcastle side, at all.
