To lose six points v Newcastle sums up how bad we played against then on two occasions Carlo selected the wrong line up ...... Both times - Our defence has been solid to me it was let's play my old favourites again we got what we deserved today such an inept performance......

They got in our faces and we didn’t want to know. They sat off knowing how slow and predictable our attack is then used Callum Wilson’s pace to form attacks. I watch us and we have players who react too slow or take too long to make a decision which gives the opposition those few seconds to adjust and get behind the ball, making it easier for them to read what we do. It’s not just today , Leicester on Wednesday they passed and moved quick in sync and we were poor in possession and penned in our own half.

That bench today, two keepers, I mean, says everything mate.

Could have played all afternoon and not scored. We look completely incapable of scoring goals at the moment unless its a shot from outside the box. We are incapable of fast attacks and we move the ball so slowly. Its shocking

I think we need to bring in players with pace, makes me laugh when commentators say Digne is fast, he was left for dead by Wilson today. Not just him but seems to run through the team. just look at the pace of Newcastle for the second goal. they deserved their win, but the treatment of James was nothing short of disgraceful.

The most sad thing is that Geordies deserved it (that is still sinking in.....2 points in 9 games and they actually deserved it!!!) Been said many many times that Tosun, Bernard, Davies, Iwobi, Gomes, Siggy etc need to go (I dread to think of their combined weekly wage, not to mention Walcott and Bolaise). Also need quality competition for Richarlson, DCL etc as they either need a rest or to feel as though their place is under threat; to much dead wood in the squad. It's not about signing expensive players but the right ones. For example, Callum Wilson in the summer......
