One of the worst, if not the dullest, games I've ever had to sit through at Goodison.
True mate, just one more to go tho and Sam will be gone:dance:Although i do want us to send Southampton down after the stick they gave us over Koeman and they sell all their best players to the SCUM, We will then never see him at the Old Lady again:drunk::pint2::dance::celebrate:

Why did he take Bolasie off? The guy finally gets to play on the right, delivers the killer cross and then gets the hook.
Because he kept failing to cross the ball because he wanted to take on three players instead, because he routinely passes the ball straight out of play, because he falls over roughly every 3 minutes for no reason, because he never, ever takes on the shot, because he often runs in the opposite direction from the ball, because he never plays the easy ball. I've just got home from the game and the number of times Bolasie and Rooney gave tthe ball away or spanked it straight out of play was mind boggling. The question shouldn't be "why was Bolasie hooked" it should be "why wasn't Rooney?"

What a win against the mighty Newcastle!

What a strange comment. Have we reached the dizzy heights of expecting an easy win? Maybe you imagine we are better than we are. Hard fought win against a side determined not to concede. We were not good enough to do any better than we did. Major surgery required for next season under a new manager.

I just enjoyed us hanging on at the end against one of the big hitters of english football

the queue wasnt that bad, stood in the wrong one or 5 minutes lol

Couldn't watch the game due to work. How did we look? Also how was Martinez' commentary?

Martinez wasn't on NBC.

We looked like a bang average team playing a slightly worse bang average team. We did very little in the final third. The goal was a decent finish but came with a bit of fortune.

Mostly a very dull affair. Keane had a decent game but easily could have gotten a second yellow. Morgan wasn't gash...in fact he was decent but got hurt. Walcott was far more involved than he's been in about a month. Bolasie was terrible. Wayne probably doesn't have to legs to even be in MLS. Pickford wound up the Geordies which was fun...he didn't have anything else to do really.

Pretty crap game all around.
