If games keep getting postponed the season will be dangerously close to not being able to be finished without risking the health of the players, the Premier League have put themselves in a bad situation that could potentially lead to the season being scrapped if it continues. Omicron is probably going to sweep through the leagues going into the new year, we'll then see even more games postponed that have to be fit somewhere in the schedule.

However, the issue will be that they'll continue to make decisions that are inconsistent meaning some games are called off while others aren't

At some point, a team will have to play while ravaged with COVID while others have been given a reprieve.
