They are a far, far, better team than us. We will need to get very lucky, probably nick a goal from a set piece and rely on Pickford to have a good game. And I don’t think we can afford to lose this one.
If we score first then I'll be confident but the longer its 0-0 the worse goodison will get.
It'll be bouncing from the off for this one. I think everyone knows how big this one is.

The crazy thing is they probably have a better squad than us with their players they acquired under bruce much less the players they added due to shady Saudi financing

Just caught up with the highlights of there demolition of a Spurs side that was playing with a back 4 for the first time this season.
For us this game will be all about the midfield. If we can silence Guimares and Willock then they wont score. Hoping Onana comes back with Doucoure to squeeze the former's space and that Iwobi has one of his 'cover every inch of Goodison' games.
Could see a tough 0-0.

Arsenal are a much better team than this lot...and a similar line up from us beat them... Newcastle aren't bloody Brazil all of a sudden, they're a decent Prem team who are beatable

And we are anything but a decent Prem team.
Of course they’re beatable, but also being a realist. The Arsenal win is doing a lot of heavy lifting in terms of our fans optimism for this game. But let’s try and make a fast start, get in front and see what we can do.

We need a snarling Goodison at its absolute best for this one. Could do with Gordon lunging into one of our players and telling the Gwladys Street where to go at around minute 5. Sadly I doubt he'll be anywhere near the pitch.

There’s no chance Gordon starts or gets any playing time unless absolutely needed for this one. It’s going to be charged enough already without Gordon adding to it.

I don't begrudge the horse punchers their current success, I think after the bad owner they previously had it's a good time for them.

However, I hate the fact the media are glossing over the terrible nature of their current owners. They should be banging on and on about that. It's sportswashing of a blood thirsty murderous regime and should be called out all the time.
