The result is all that matters today. Yes we where awful but we got through. Lets be honest Its far from the first time we've almost come unstuck against a plucky lower league side. I know its not fun but that's the nature of cup games. It happens, twas ever thus.

Go back to the ECWC in 1985. When we think of that competition most of us will think of the Bayern Munich semi or the final itself but before all that happened we played University College Dublin and only just limped over the line 1-0 after two legs. At one point during the second leg at Goodison they hit the bar, had that gone in they would have knocked us out. A team of students almost beat possibly the greatest team in our clubs history. We also got knocked out of the league cup at home to Grimsby Town If my memory serves me correctly. If results like that can happen to a team like our 84-85 side then of course it can happen to our current dogdirt team!
You forgot Newport......
Think we put up more of a fight against the Cardiff fans.

Everton far to predictable to play against.
Rotherham done their homework and deserved to win in the 90.
2nd bottom Rotherham and after their performance something to build on ,we seem to get a result and say similar, still waiting.
I just wish we were a good watch, tedious just now.

I’ve seen some poor everton teams over the years. Today was the 1st time I’ve ever switched off the TV to tidy the house instead of watching us
It got me so angry watching them trying to pass a football. It was better for my ticker to switch off.
Same old players same old rubbish I’m afraid
Same old problems that are never addressed. One paced, no movement, no aggression and rubbish passing.
The club as a whole needs a rocket up it’s You know what and that includes the coaching. Nothing ever changes
