I actually think we've played alright - problem is we've slowed the game down instead of for me hitting it into the channels or let DCL win the flick ons.

Frustrates no end when he wins a flick on and no one is running ahead of him other than a snail in Sigurdsson.

Again happy to settle for 1-0? Those last 20 minutes or so ... not good enough by far. why are we letting them run at us? Why when we do have the ball is there no intent? E.g. Richy gets the ball on the break with 2 players near him.. we stop and pass back to Digne.. who stops and passes to Keane.. and so it goes on... Yes I'm back to moaning about our intent.. Its almost total arrogance.. that we have scored and now we just play out the game like we're in injury time.. Gomes disappeared those last 20.. Did Siggy see the ball apart from the free kick? Sorry if I seem harsh but the longer we let it drift the better the chance they will score

I’m not bothered about us having less of the ball - we’re better when the onus isn’t on us.

It’s just the few times we’ve actually sped the play up, they’ve looked all over the shot,

After that opener it should have been 5-10 minutes of attack from us, get the second and then you can take the foot off the gas and pick your moments

we’ve given them a lifeline and that has to change, because they’re genuinely awful

Agree. Far too much sideways and backwards when they have space behind their defence.
Our goal came from being more direct - we should be playing forwards more.

I think they were happy just to see it out to half time. Seems harsh to me. Gomes has been positive on the ball. Theyve all played well. Allan a bit rusty but can't hold that against him.

We can easily carve them open. We’ve shown that. I just feel we’re restricting our own play a bit too much.

Shame about the Kean goal as that changes the complexion, but they’re still in this, especially if we don’t come out alert in the second half (which we hardly ever do)
