I’m hoping for a midfield of Allan, Doucoure and Davies.

The lineup picks itself. Can't play Siggy or Gomes against Soton, they'll get pressed off the park. We need athletes and runners. Allan sits on the left to give Digne license to run forward on the wings, Holgate stays back so that Doucoure can roam on the right side. Davies continues to play the #6. James drifts inside, DCL and Richy play as a duo. Iwobi on for James around the 65th minute.

This is definitely our strongest lineup, here’s hoping this is what it is.

Just so true. The, we will dine out on the derby win now, scares the sh!t out of me.

Why was pressure off in the Derby?
Coming off 2 losses. Playin your biggest rivals who were out of form. Interesting to know why no pressure there.

Id replace pressure with expectation. No matter how they are playing expectation is still very low we will get anything there.
The expectation v souhampton now is completely the reverse.
Its something Everton havent handled well for a long time. Being favourites to win.

Fine line i suppose. We dont perform that well under either really. Was the pressure on liverpool or Everton in the derby? More liverpool. If we had lost most would have said oh well. Same old Everton.
Prob more pressure on Everton to perform tonight.
I think that was the general point. Tend to agree aswell.

I don't agree at all that there was no pressure on us in the Derby. There is pressure in every game. We haven't played well against teams we should be beating. Don't think that's pressure myself. It's a poor attitude. For me that's totally different.
 
Lets hope the players really mean what they say when a number f them state the importance of continuing on after the liverpool win. We usually know in the first 5 mins of a match if Everton are up for it or not. Utft
