Quick start imperative tonight....get ahead in the first half, think Soton have been really poor second half of games recently.

They're really bad at defending leads, worst second half performances of any team in the league I think.

Move the ball quick, from back to front and they'll collapse.

What we can't do is play into their hands of a slow, side to side, niggly affair. They love a bit of snide, breaking things up.

Let's have the confidence to play football and we'll do 'em.

Isnt just about the squad. We can look so unbalanced is the point. When we're asking a central midfielder with no pace to take on a fullback and provide crosses is it any wonder. Fulham had natural width no matter what we think of its quality. We had iwobi on the bench but may aswell ask next doors cat to put a cross in.
Im praying we buy some decent width in the summer. It could be a massive huge difference.

I remember Gomes and Sigurdsson letting Southampton boss us at home last season. Gomes even going as far as giving away a cheap penalty before he feigned injury to get subbed off. Same against Southampton away this year where him and Sigurdsson stood ball watching as their midfielder just ghosted past them and set up a goal. If that’s the team that’s very disappointing.
