We have had a reasonable holiday period. If we had held on to the derby draw then it would have been a very good holiday period. This only gives us a glimpse of how nice it feels to win games.
Hopefully we build on the playing gains by bringing in a few players to help our current squad. Gana is going to be a big miss, I don't see Davies being his replacement but more his partner.
Still think this is going to be a big 7 days in our medium term future.

Everton win.... Davek disappears. It's a consistently reliable truth.

Amazing at how well Koeman has addressed the problems left by Martinez - how many games last year did we lose due to conceding late goals, because our fitness levels were toilet? Now we are faster and more energetic in the last 20 mins of most games, and we keep scoring late goals to get points. Sure there is plenty more work to do, but Koeman has achieved a lot in a short space of time IMHO.

Delighted.
Thought Barkley played well for the most part and I was happy with the ovation as he came off.
Lakaku played well and a crucial clearance from Williams.
Could have went either way for a while but we got there.

reason I've missed the last 5 home games.....:( hope he's OK ;)

...they are nasty. I know I'm critical of Dr Irvine, especially after he examined the wrong leg when Bolasie got injured but he does put players back on the pitch when they are clearly carrying a bad injury.

It could make the difference between weeks and months out. I think it's time Dr Irvine did the honourable thing.

excellent win,1st half even really,2nd half we were better, though i had feeling this was heading for 0-0 as we really didnt look like scoring to me for 70 mins or us conceeding a late loser, saints as you might guess will blame having 1 day less no doubt, but thats a mind thing for me saying your tired etc,if you want to win,you wont be tired, plus they made 6 changes,7 if you include early sub, davies excellent again and i thought he would have started v hull, didnt think Lewin would start but feel bad for the kid as you could tell how much it hurt him to come off so early
