February and March fixtures look very good.
In fact from now till end of March look good.
I know we have City at home but frankly if we put enough crosses in we will beat them.

Valencia doesn't seem to be able to last more than about 75 mins. The longest he's played (other than the league cup match with Norwich) was the game vs Arsenal, when he came off at 79 mins and was obviously knackered.

Fair enough, but could mirallas not do what koeman wanted from lewis? Basically play along side lukaku and chase the flick ons and set the tempo from up front?

Ross, showed his class together with energetic closing down the opposition at pace, no surprise he was able to shine with Tom Davies and Gana Gueye alongside him. Come on RK i aint no football coach but to me its been obvious for months that G.Barry is an ex premier league regular.

A special well done to the Southampton fans, possibly the first bunch in a few seasons who have really got into the spirit of Goodison by basically being quiet and occasionally trying a few half arsed attempts at monotonously chanting the name of their team.

Hopefully they can build on this and by next season's fixture will be booing their own players.

To his defence, diagnosing a Grade 1-2 tear in the knee is really difficult, especially with all the adrenaline in the middle of a match and all. Not easy for the person with the injury to be able to tell or accept it either. I should know, i did my MCL with a Grade 3 tear last year skiing in Austria, still felt good enough to ski down the bottom of the hill - i was subsequently out for 9 months.

Didn't see DCL's injury today though, too bad for the lad but he is young and oughta make it back

Same here... ruptured my MCL in the last 10 minutes of our semi final last year.... felt like a sore knee that's all... I told them I wanted to carry on.... I managed to jog off the pitch fine .... within 10 minutes I couldn't move my knee for the next 6 months

The unashamedly kopite editors of BBC sport tucking into the sour grapes this evening methinks :-

"Hectic schedule tires Southampton
Southampton were playing their third match in six days - compared with Everton's same number of outings in eight days - and they wilted after conceding the first goal."
Believe it or not there are Evertonians repeating it in the Koeman thread. Mad.
