Mason LOL. How he didn't give that free kick when Lennon was brought down is beyond comprehension, especially as he was standing in front of it.

Lennon looked decent, Jags has rediscovered his old self, so a few pluses in an otherwise poor watch. Oh and not forgetting Howard.

The 3 points will always do whatever.

Top half's on. Stoke will probably lose now.

It's going to be funny looking back at the old relegation threads on here if we manage 10th or 9th. Very possible if we keep winning.

Still a lot of sloppy loose balls in midfield, but overall a solid performance and a great win that more or less clears us from relegation danger. My MOTM Jags. Great work from Stones, McCarthy and Lennon too. Oh, and Howard: he earned those three points as much as anyone on the pitch today, so remember that next time around all you Howard bashers. Barry and Besic were poor, lots of sloppy balls, and it's hard to see what Kone brings to the table apart from his sandwiches. Naismith made a real difference when he came on, showing the passion, stamina and ball control that Kone largely lacks. I think Arouna has a lot to prove between now and the end of the season if he wishes to stay at the Club.

Boss man has seen off the boo boys.
