That tonight was perhaps the most obvious display of how criminally bad our recruitment has been over the past 3/4 years.
We’ve amassed, quite impressively, a team of complete losers and many of them barely resemble footballers.

The season died before the break. Dont take it too hard . The players are half hearted and its a load of auld shyte. Everyone knows it apart from the deluded mongwai across the park . Its farcical non sport charade to sign off a few cheques. Normal service resumes next season hopefully

Richarlison's angry reaction at full time was completely justified. He knows the rest of the squad bar Gordon and Digne are absolutely abysmal. Compare his reaction to Tom Davies who didn't even look that bothered which says everything. Absolute donkey once again. Anyone who thinks he's good enough is in denial

Yeah its funny how two managers can get such a different reaction for playing basically the same football with the same abject group of players! Not much difference is there...

I really don't ever want to see Davies and Sigurdsson play again for us. Particularly in a 442.

Give the 23's or an 18's lad a chance, Gordon has been our only midfield hope the last 3 games which says everything.

I'd honestly play Holgate in a midfield role for the remainder of the season, no doubt he's long term our #1 CB option but right now he's also our most energetic option for a defensive minded midfielder which says everything about the useless lot we've currently got.

Right now only Richarlison, Digne and Holgate should feel confident of having a starting spot next season (lets be honest Pickford probably aswell although it should be more in question), 75% of them should understand they've got 4 games left to show why they should be kept and some of them should be told times already up.

Missed the game because of work. Judging from you lot I didn't miss much. Makes me actually stop and realise it's been a long time since I've actually missed out on not seeing a game. Fun times.

One positive is that Ancelotti now knows the enormity of the task ahead. Some of the players have done themselves no favours over the last few weeks.

Considering the players we have 8 points from 15 is the best we could have hoped for. Our recruitment the last few years have left us in this mess. We have to get it right now especially when we have at last a proper manager.
For the last few games we just need to flood the midfield and go from there.
We will pick up 7 from the next 12 as I think villa and Bournemouth will be gone by time we face them

The rules say that if the player makes an ‘honest attempt’ to play the ball it will not be a red card. Red card if they pull them over or rip them out without trying to get the ball! The challenge was obviously deemed an honest attempt but im still fuming it wasnt a red!

Doesn’t that only apply when a penalty is give? Reckon VAR would have overturned it had he given a red.
