The rules say that if the player makes an ‘honest attempt’ to play the ball it will not be a red card. Red card if they pull them over or rip them out without trying to get the ball! The challenge was obviously deemed an honest attempt but im still fuming it wasnt a red!

That only applies for when it's a penalty, when it's outside the box it's a red (or should be) regardless of whether it was a genuine attempt to play the ball.

thats what we need at the minimum- think we can live without a CB providing we can get most of those in with the likes of Bernard, Tosun, Kean, Delph, Siggurdsson out the door.

I really don't ever want to see Davies and Sigurdsson play again for us. Particularly in a 442.

Give the 23's or an 18's lad a chance, Gordon has been our only midfield hope the last 3 games which says everything.

I'd honestly play Holgate in a midfield role for the remainder of the season, no doubt he's long term our #1 CB option but right now he's also our most energetic option for a defensive minded midfielder which says everything about the useless lot we've currently got.

Right now only Richarlison, Digne and Holgate should feel confident of having a starting spot next season (lets be honest Pickford probably aswell although it should be more in question), 75% of them should understand they've got 4 games left to show why they should be kept and some of them should be told times already up.

I’d add Gomes to that list too. He’s done nothing to justify having a starting spot. And that is based on pre injury form as well as post injury.

We need athletes

Every outfield position on the park bar maybe one of your centre halves, needs to have pace these days.

We are so slow.

I don't understand how we managed to have so many players with no strength, aggression or pace. Its almost like we just wanted to spend money cause we could.

First half we didn’t deserve to draw, it was really difficult.
Of course, I am disappointed about the first half, we left a lot of space between the lines, we were not in control.
We were better in the second half but that was not enough
Richarlison scored a fantastic goal but Dominic Calvert-Lewin had difficulties because we were not in control.

It is not a good result but we have four games, we have to keep fighting and see what happens after.
It will not be easy but we have to try.

Depends what business we do in terms of sales imo - I think the owners will have no other option but to back Carlo.
