Iwobi poor… dreadful. Didn’t watch it but not surprised.

Again…. Worst player we have in this squad.

Please please someone come in for him.
Hard to call him the worst player when Keane got on the pitch, but he was certainly the least visible. If it wasn't for his stand out hairstyle you'd never know he played.

It’s frightening how little creativity there is that midfield
Im gonna shut up once the window closes, cos negative nigels are boring.

But we look very bad and I dont see it getting any better whilst we have Iwobi and Doucs starting games.

Both can have good games, but when they are bad, they actively play for the other team.

We need attacking/creative players as a matter of urgency and maybe the gaffer could get them to move the ball faster as well.

Im cold and wet, but happy my Grandson got to see an Everton win in his first game, but I honestly saw very little to think its not gonna be another long season.

Only negative because I want Everton to be the best it can be. I’ve watched a lot of crap particularly the 90s and as you get older you get tired of the same excuses, same narratives and all they do is avoid the core issues and doesn’t fix the problems long term. You are right It is boring , only because Everton itself is boring. The only positive I see is the stadium.

The money in the game has given clubs the green light to be unsuccessful, they are fine regardless of what happens because they have such a comfortable living there is no sincere pressure to step up. I think it’s been forgotten football is a competition to win and money has the majority satisfied without winning due to being lucratively rewarded anyway.

A fair number of our club people wouldn’t be getting the rewards they are at somewhere actually competitive because like so many others, they are rewarded for keeping the status quo so the money keeps rolling in rather than being rewarded for being a successful football club.

Yeah it was not enjoyable watch today, I’ve never been a lover of Leeds Italian midget, but good god we need someone to attack space.

Can’t be doing with Champions League Al getting the ball, squaring up a player than passing it back. His uncle must be ashamed of him

Just back from the game, I’d imagine this has already been said but Gyokeres looked decent first half against Godfrey but Branthwaite was much better against him. Branthwaite looks a great prospect tbf. Gyokeres would definitely have been a useful addition though (suprised how much of a unit he was tbf)

Tbh, I was impressed by Gyokeres in the first half, but then he was playing against Godfrey. Second half didn't hear a peep from him, probably good that we missed out on him if Tarkowski and Branthwaite can keep him quiet.

‘We’ve got players who want to play for Everton’

Perhaps a dig at either previous players who have left or linked players who don’t want to join. Either way wanting to be at the club has to be essential criteria number 1 for all Everton players.

Lets be honest. Nobody else really wants them.
