Yeah was always going be that with mcneil and danjuma both out. Style of play wont really improve this season still need players to come in and give us more. I thought we have looked more confident and fitter than last season, it wont be a massive change from last season but hope with some more in we can have a boring mid table season

In august now and still trying to get an unknown 19yo forward in season begins next week. I’d be very happy with a boring mid table season can’t see it being that will be a long worrying relegation scrap again.

It's good but a fitter sporting would have definitely scored early in the game today. They blasted over a couple of pretty good chances. But it is what it is at the moment. On the whole we have been decent and very Dyche like. I still fear that any game we go behind in will just be game over and that needs to be addressed

Bar our goal and another chance we could have scored 1st half, thought it was pretty much all sporting with the chances, and they could/shoud have defo had those 2 chances in a few mons scored early on

A good unbeaten pre season, but watching todays game you could be forgiven for thinking we had a pre season.
Pretty much same team and performance as last season.
I was hoping we may change personnel or tactics/formation, can’t see anything different myself.

It does sound like he's being super careful with the players who aren't '100%' yet, which includes Branthwaite. Sounds like we're probably going to have to wait for a few more weeks before we see certain players bedding into the side..

Looked much better at the back with Branthwaite there. Got to start against Fulham.
Good performances from Garner and Patterson.
Onana could be a big player this season. Needs to play to his height and physicality. MOM performance.
We are a different side with DCL up top. Maupay offers so little.
Hope McNeil and Danjuma are fit for Fulham. Need a quality CB and Striker through the door as a bear minimum.
