This pretty much sums up how Everton make me feel these days...

Lukaku is not a winger, Osman is not a winger, Naismith is not a winger, Pienaar is not a winger.....Ross needs to grow a pair and sort it out. NSNO, COYB
Missed this entirely as have been travelling about for xmas......was it the same story as the last few games? Passing it sideways in the final third, zero chances created and too slow in general?
This is a contradiction. Possession is either 'critical' or it isn't. You can't say it is and then add but only if it's incisive. You could equally say that the long ball is crap -- unless you keep sticking the ball in the net.Which is better?
Retention of the ball is critical to success in modern football. What we are lacking currently is incisive possession due to lack of confidence on and off the ball resulting in little forward movement by players looking for the next pass and therefore a square or backwards pass.
Which is better?
Everton have the ball, lump it forward, opposition have ball, pass, pass, pass, shoot, score........?

This is further compounded by almost every opposition looking dangerous on the break against us given the form of our central defensive partnership and goalkeeper.
Valid points but does not excuse poor play on our part. In a game the players have to get on with it and play. To say if 1 or 2 of those decisions had been different we get a point, what kind of defeatist talk is that. It is 3 points the team should be going out to win of which in the last games little evidence of that.
I find it interesting that many Evertonians willfully want to overlook the referee performances that have factually affected the results.
No one is excusing our play.
However I'm seeing a lot of Evertonians make excuses for the inexcusable refereeing we've seen by pointing to our poor performances.
Sorry but not having that.
I wish Mcgeady & Barkley had lumpt it forward yesterdayWhich is better?
