Im glad he does. Let the manager get on with it and support him through thick and thin. See his contract out at least, barring a disaster. i know many don't agree but I don't want us changing bosses just for having a couple of bad seasons, especially when its a new manager. There are plenty of positives on top of the very frustrating negatives to this team.

We know you're bent - no-one forgets the EIGHT big calls you made in the 07-08 Derby where you systematically cheated Everton out of 3 points by refusing us everything - the red card for the seriously dangerous foul by Kuyt, the dubious penalty at the Park End (AGAIN) - only that time you were 30 yards away and your friend Stevie Me helped you award the penalty and red-card. How you missed the fouls on Anichebe and Lescott for a penalty - I hope you sleep at night.

So, today, you can't be 100% sure it's a penalty - else it wouldn't take the persuading of half the Stoke team and a five second think would it? Admit it - you bottled it and gave it - we got the sh*tty end of the stick.

I hope you never grace Goodison Park again - good riddance.

it is over the top. because he is not an utter joke and not awful. He is poor and I can't wait to have a new keeper in there, but he still makes plenty of good saves and does part of his job well. So you are wrong and over the top as you often are.

I wasnt making an excuse, merely pointing out that many managers go with the experience option despite poor form. Don't agree with it, but then again I have no clue what Howards standing is in the squad, what influence he has on those youngsters. Neither do you. If it is weak management, then it is a weak management decision which is extremely common in football.
 

I've been very much pro Martinez, but he really does make me wonder what he is and isn't seeing. He's like the really talented songwriter in a band who has a drug addiction and can't record a decent album anymore.

However, for me January the make or break month for Martinez. We are currently in 2 cups and 5 points off Europa league, if he doesn't fix these defensive issues we will most likely be 9 points off Europa league and out of both cups. I know we have some difficult games coming up but he should only be in a job if we a) have a cup final to look forward to or b) are 2 points off Europa league place. I can't see us keeping a single clean sheet in Jan so unless we fluke our way into a final and finally get some luck in the league he needs to be gone.

Not over the top at all.
Howard is a disgrace and should not be picked simples.
 

what a game, I cant get too mad/fumey about this result stoke looked very dangerous and talented and some great performances from everton players.
just hope the penny will drop soon for Martinez about a few things. whether its a type of puyol? (jags?), world class goalkeeper, player we need or martinez to learn how to defend.
I would let everton spend their whole kitty next summer if it meant getting a world class goalkeeper (not bashing howard) to limit thoose margins that see everton lose so many points
