We seemingly just don't learn from our errors,we keep on making them and then again,I can guarantee you I wasn't the only blue in the ground today who felt at 3-2 up we needed another goal to at least get a point out of the game,it's absolutely ridiculous,to be scoring three goals home and away and drawing/losing games is criminal.

I guarantee you are right cos me, my mate and 10 people around us agreed with you at the same time. And therein lies our biggest problem. Our goalkeeper is so ridiculously out of form and our defence lacks confidence because of how unreliable our goalkeeper is and our manger insists on tippy happy football and trying to win every game in style instead of playing out 15 minutes and making some defensive substitutions?

I've been out just seen the result fed up with this c**p, 4 internationals in defence and we are shipping loads of goals like we have been all season. I'm not so sure mourinho would want stones now even if he was still at Chelsea, we are starting to remind me of the days ossie ardiles was at spurs when he was so attacking minded they had to score 4 to get a result, Martinez couldnt set up a defence to save his life, it's always been his downfall where ever he has been, If Moyes had of had these players at his disposal now way would be be letting in so many and he's didn't have the quality of forwards we have now, I'm beginning to want him back, or at least a change.

Martinez can not sort out a defence that's his downfall, he needs help in that department and if it isn't sorted he should be replaced.

The major frustration for me is this, 95% of our all round play today was excellent. Unfortunately the 5% of schoolboy errors we commit is costing us big time. At 3-2 I had little confidence we would see it out, I doubt even Aston Villa could have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in such style. This is exactly it. Its a tough call because under Moyes we were solid. I prefer our current style of play because we're very good going forward. But this calamitous defending is killing us. 7 goals conceded at home to Stoke and Leicester at home is just not on. Teams know we can be got at. I don't think Stoke or Leicester had that many chances but boy were we punished. 3rd goal today left me speechless, and whats worrying is that I wasn't surprised when they got the 4th. Rom was awesome today but finished on the losing team.

We are a joke when it comes to defending, something we rarely had to worry a bout in moyes time,as he was very good at sorting any defensive problems out very quick, this has been going on to long now, our defending may be a joke but it's not a funny one. The only thing I'm hoping is when Jags is back he will settle it down and the rest will remember what they have to do.

It's pretty frustrating to hear Martinez' post match comments, as always. He's built a side with a very young spine, the reason United did so well with the class of '92 is because they had a proper manager in SAF and knew exactly what their job was. All we hear from our manager is that we need to improve our 'mentality', at 3-2 up he should have brought Besic on, and sent a message to the team on what to do with the lead, there doesn't seem to be any plan B/C whatsoever.

The decision to pull Ross back to DM for the 2nd half today was baffling, as were his weird subs against Newcastle. It just doesn't feel like a long term project that's going in the right direction to me, at so many times this season we've looked like we don't have any tactics at all, especially in the last 20. It's just so damn frustrating.

Heard a lot of stuff on here about our defensive problems but not much about how they can be fixed. With the exception of Jags coming back from injury (hardly the managers fault) but I still cant get over being 3-2 up at home with 20 mins left and losing the game. I wouldn't care if he took Rom and Gerri off and brought on Gibbo and Besic - played Gibbo as a fifth defender and Besic at CDM. As long as we held that lead. That is an alehouse level error by the manager.

The problem is we are very nearly there we are in fact very good and the players must know it, but there's definitely a real problem with organising the defensive side of things, it was much the same last season players are partly to blame and we are short of a defensive leader, I didn't think we would miss jags so much had stones been injured instead, I'm sure we would have done much better. When's is he back?.
