congrats on today lads
apart from the disallowed goal we never created anything shame we didnt get a point but i bet you aint complaining
looks like your season has kickstarted in the past few weeks so hopefully you keep it up and good luck for the rest of the season (except for the trip back to stoke) hopefully you get a top four spot and fingers crossed stoke will be here next year for the visit:)

Nice one mate, you were unlucky with the goal, but i think we shaded it just. I agree if you had have opened it up earlier you could have gotten something out of the game.

Your in a false position your performences so far deserve more points to be honest! Best of luck for the rest of the season!

Bloody hell, I'm happy with the result, just not the performance. But ******* hell, there are other posters who have criticised performances, go and have a pop at them.

I don't normally say anything when people are overly negative, but you do it are all the time.

I'm not psychic, nor do I have a secret webcam in your house (I swear), so I can't see your expression. So if you're at all happy, do let us know.

I hate it when opposition fans are too easy to be throwing the compliments around after a win but you genuinely have the making of a solid team there mate, like what Moyes done with us when he got here. You can play too which the media choose to ignore being the beauts they are. You need to try and keep hold of Tuncay though, good player that.

Ok maybe not poor, but it wasn't good. It was just enough. Which maybe enough for people here, but not for me. It's middle of the table style football.

Like the way Moyes dons a suit now, while super cap wearing chav is standing there admiring Davies threads.

You're always trying to say it so that it's us who have the low standards mate, as if its our fault. Come on, how many people have agreed with you, that's an indication of the validation of your comments mate.

Agreed majority of stoke fans have always said we hope to progress like you have done under moyes in recent years ,and we believe the team is currently trying to play a lot more football than in past years, hopefully that was shown today, and this season we just haven't had a bit of luck really what you often need. and i do agree Tuncay is a really goood player, Pulis just struggles to see where he can use him but hopefully he will get a good run because, every stoke fan wants to see it.

New pointy finger celebration from THE YAK shocker.

Where does the problem lie between him and Pulis though mate? Shame, as he is crucial in providing the spark in the middle, works really hard too. That goal shouldn't have been disallowed to be honest.

Surely it's only a matter of time before things pick for you though. You can see your team starting to evolve into a good all round one. That's one of the toughest games were likely to have at Goodison this year mate.

Well there were a few earlier who were commenting on the sitting back, a few on Twitter and other forums too.

You see with football you have 2 tracks. You have performance and result. All pundits know it, all managers know it, all experts know it.

How many times do you hear people say, we played really well, but have lost the game? Moyes said it throughout the start of the season.

So why is it such a big deal for me to say that I thought the result was good, but the performance wasn't?

No idea to be honest mate we signed him with a double deal with Robert Huth and alot of stoke fans believe that Pulis never wanted him but had to take him as well as Huth. Pulis just doesn't believe he is consistent enough, but in fairness he never really had a chance. and as for the goal i haven't seen it yet, sadly couldn't get to the game, but it does seem like you got a bit of luck, you win some and lose some though:lol:

And were hoping it we will get a bit of luck now but got some very tricky games coming up so its looking bleak but, wolves beating man city is a perfect example anybody can beat anyone now.

You will probably look back at this game at the end of the season and see how hard earned points they were we know with stoke we will give anyone a game but the problem for us was we've got nothing from it.

I genuinely look forward to your visit to the Brit this year too, always have time for Everton fans (unlike your scouse neighbours:lol:) we don't seem to have had any luck against you in the three years though i think we've managed two hard earned draws but like i said best of luck.

I agree with Ghost. Decent enough result, middling performance. Some good moves and moments going forward, but allowed Stoke to put us under too much pressure defensively and allowed too many chances, especially towards the end.

And just because something isn't popular doesn't make it wrong, and vice-versa. I mean, look at the Spice Girls, they were popular :o

Any comments that are not champagne comments mate are banned on GOT. I've forgotten about that.

Yeah it was an ace performance, champions league performance even.

It was obvious as the day is long this wasn't a good performance, people have already said that and will continue to analyse this is in the days to come but right now, I'd prefer to think about the fact we still won against tough opposition (and they are tough opposition) despite being nowhere near the top of our game. We've played well and not won this season so frankly, it's a nice turnaround. I'll drink me pints happy tonight.

Do think Pennant needs to be playing on that right for you. Etherington doesnt have a good day, you end up a little short wide (a bit like we do).

Always like Stoke. You'll be fine for this season.

as will I mate. I'm sorry that I don't celebrate a win like many, I prefer to look towards the next game and how we are progressing as a unit.

Thankfully Rodwell will back soon.

Let me guess, you're clearly one of the experts and we just don't get it.

We beat a very decent Stoke team one nil, yes we sat back when we scored which is frustrating but you come on here acting all moody about the result. We overall deserved it, job done mate.

We do seem to get a bit of a rub of the green against you mate, long may it continue. I like Stoke, I just buzz off the general ignorance about them from media and fans alike who label them as a one dimension team, you're turning into a very decent outfit.

You don't like scousers, you don't like Moyes, you don't like this forum lately do you?
