Absolutely massive win, delighted.

But we really, really need to sort out conceding first, we're shooting ourselves in the foot every week.

a WIN is a WIN - no matter how - our turning point of the season when Moysie took Neville off - within 2 minutes we scored 2 goals - i rest my case .....

Bit harsh on us, we dominated the 90 minutes but were'nt making clear cut chances. They parked the bus and created a few chances in the first 10 or so minutes, that's all they did.

We deserved the win.

Two major concerns for me..

First is our defending. I never EVER feel confident in our back line anymore at it's stressing me the [Poor language removed] out. They play far too deep all the time and seem incapable of just getting rid of the ball successfully. Every counter for the opposition turns into a decent goalscoring chance and I don't like it.

The second is Mirallas being injured. Knowing our luck he'll be out for weeks now, and on current form he's our best player. Gibson is also taking forever to come back, and god help us if Felli decides to jump ship in Jan.

Sorry to be so negative, I'm really pleased with the win and our current position, but I can't help feeling that we're starting to slip. Think we're in for a tough festive period personally.

True, Sunderland defended really well as a team. You could see why they had the 3rd best defence in the league, going in to the game.

I didn't see us scoring at all. Like you said, was a weird feeling after we deserved the win so badly against Fulham but only drew but somehow managed to steal all 3 points today.

Needed that, to say the least. Almost as much as we need to get a new centre back. Hopefully we can address some of the obvious issues with the squad in January (WITHOUT SELLING FELLAINI, BILL) and have our usual second half to the season to compliment our good form so far.
