Del for Kev would be a better option. At least McGeady looks like he's trying. Mirallas has been really poor

On the face of it I agree. But Del is more direct than McGeady and I think that Kev will come back firing with Del on the pitch. (no reasoning behind this, just an idea)

Fair to say we only need Barry or McCarthy playing when we're at home, alongside Barkley. With a brand new attacking mid who can play through balls.

I'd more intensity running downstairs to get my sausage rolls hot from the oven just now than we had for the last 10 mins of that half. Need to cop on before the match fizzles away from us as we wont get a lucky breaklike last week

In the last 12 and a half games we have had 43 shots on target according to the BBC less that 4 per game for a team supposed to be playing its best football in years 'stylish' some say I say its a load of nonsense and its not working for us.

People talking about us being poor all over the park but really this is just another example of how our poor attack lets us down, and how we need an Osman/Pienaar up there.

The ball doesn't stick.....all of our attack miscontrolling or running into players or misplacing passes....and its a no-brainer that a decent passing team will be all over us and get at us with space.

Barry and Macca need the options ahead of them, and I really think seeing that lot making a mess of the balls into feet that they do get makes our CM think twice about passing it to them. So they dont take the risk. They would be passing forward more if Pienaar was there, I'm sure.

Barry and McCarthy need to take control of the game though. They're getting destroyed in the middle.

I think Barry does try to play forwards but Barkley and Lukaku don't drop into the whole or into positions to give the likes of Barry an out ball and that's why it goes sideways a lot. Or if Lukaku does drop in deep to take the ball, he tries a first time lay off or a first time ball around the corner and it goes to no one and the play breaks down.

For me, Lukaku and Barkley have to do more off the ball and show for it more in the final third and give us a chance to get forward.

We will have are moments this 2nd half but we need to get a goal or 2 when were on top
Yep Barkley is the problem.
