A very entertaining game, and easier to be happy with as a winner.
How many times did we turn over ball carelessly and give them a chance to attack? We only really got a grip with the corner tactics by the end of the match, but at least we should be able to deal with that type of tactic if thrown at us again. Also, I'd say that Spurs were equally error prone. It made for a very exciting game though for sure, but one were we can certainly improve on.
One thing that I did note whilst watching it, is that I thought our players had a bit more 'grit' about them than Spurs who are a top 4 regular side. Reminded me of how United play when they are performing well. This pleases me no end as it shows that the players have belief in themselves which is something that hasn't really been a big part of our mentality for a long time now.
Hopefully the lads will have a nice rest, calm down after the excitement and get ready for Fulham up next and continue in the same vein. Fingers crossed DCL is ok, and we are back to strength asap.
Oh and what would that game have been like with supporters? It would have been insane!
