Oh you naive little bunny.
You might be right but I tend to get annoyed when things don’t go as I expect them to but I really don’t see our current set of players suddenly growing a set and putting in a professional performance tonight. I am expecting another weak display of insipid football and a defeat.
If it goes as I expect at least it will kill the slim hope of European football.

Of course there is always a bit of me that hopes I have got this completely wrong and tonight is a case of “cometh the hour cometh the man”.

Would go for the 3 at the back and wingbacks again to give us width, Gomes and Allan in the middle, James behind Richie and King. Got to show some intent to win the game.

Surely not?

Team selection is a problem with so many injuries. Bet will be forced to have Davies and Siggy in midfield and perhaps also Gomes. Put Godfrey in at RB to give Son a good kicking.

Everton vs Spurs: Let's get ready to bottle!!!! Time for a masterclass in bungling a game from two pros. I have no idea who's going to show up to this game factoring their performances this season, hopefully Everton though.

No 3 at the back please. It's not that we can't play it as on paper we have the right types of players but we don't have the right mentality for it, instead of using it as the base of the attack we just end up setting out to defend.

I'd go with

Pickford
Coleman - Keane - Godfrey - Digne
Allan - Gomes
Iwobi - James - Richarlison
King

Would hope for a bit more pace and energy from Iwobi, Richy and King which we severely lack most of the time on counters, James can just find pockets of space and move the ball about in the final 3rd, Allan and Gomes told to just sit in front of the back 4 and not move, Gomes if he's on a good day can just keep it ticking over far better than Davies.

This is an absolute must win if we want any hope of getting 7th and it getting a Europe spot.
