When Frank was sacked we had just a handful of points. I didn't expect us to be just 3 points off 12th by April.

Dyche has given us a fighting chance.

And we, the supporters, were magnificent at Goodison last night.

To draw against a top 4 side (against whom we played with fewer men for almost
40 minutes) is really quite extraordinary.

We will stay up. The kopites will not get their wish

Just got in from the game (via the pub obviously)
What an atmosphere! Goodison was at it's 'bear pit' best tonight after the sending off and the penalty.
If the crowd were on the list they would certainly have got my vote for MotM.
As that wasn't an option, I have voted for Dwight McNeil.
Kean will win the vote obviously after that goal, but I was very impressed ny McNeil tonight. He may never be a superstar, but his work rate and attitude could not be faulted tonight.
My sentiments exactly!

I concur with all that you have said, sir.

Kane was shot mate, hard to stand on your feet having been blasted by a sawn off shotgun……well I can only assume that’s what happened….
But what a warrior he is! Imagine: Playing glamorously like the French royalty, still in every occasion head in(g) the box no matter being decapitated.

We are truly terrible in front of goal still. It's unfathomable how professional footballers can't, at a very least, put their feet through a ball to strike it on goal.

  1. Gray trying to curl it into top corner, ball goes flying over.
  2. Onana trying from 20 yards with his left foot, dribbles along floor into keeper's hands.
  3. Gueye totally free effort from 15 yards, blazed over the ball.
  4. Onana right foot from 20 yards, rolls into keeper's hands again.
I think I've even missed a few there as well. You it cannot spurn these chances - we didn't make Lloris work the entire game apart from when Gueye finally had a pop shot second half, and even that wasn't going in.

Spurs created NOTHING and we gifted them a goal. It wasn't a must-win game but with those chances we passed up, it's yet another huge opportunity missed.

He has them fighting for every ball. They need to stop losing it though x
Yes agreed, they need to be better with the ball. I certainly dont want to be negative but in my opinion working hard doesnt make you more skillful. I think this may be as good as it gets with the squad we have at the moment.

I'm very disappointed. I watched the recording thinking we'd won. I didn't know the score, but I'd accidentally seen an image of our players with big smiles at, or near the end of the game. Ah well, I would've been happy to not lose before the match.

….well, it’s been well discussed. Thelwell failed to bring in an effective striker in TWO windows. It’s not rocket science when folk on here highlighted DCLs fragility from the outset, it’s not rocket science when we all pointed out the need for an effective back-up.

We are an impotent attacking force. We know that, it’s just a matter of whether we can fight an uphill battle to avoid relegation despite the incompetence of our DoF and Board. We are in there with a shout but I fear we have to get an unexpected win to stay up before the season ends.
