I've got this old memory of watching an Everton 1-1 Spurs match, live on tv, on a sleepy Sunday afternoon, and I just can't remember the details, who was manager, or anything. I could google this, but just wanted to share and talk about it, because I can't place what 'era' or 'phase' it was in - Royle, Howard Kendal II or III? honestly thinking about the period between 1995 - 2004 is so strange, like a big whirlwind of grey weirdness, because sometimes I just can't remember where people like Pat Nevin, Preki , Beardsley, Gascoigne, Ginola and all fit in. lol
I think it was a Stuart McCall man of the match game, and they had Vinny Samways as their star, and for us to draw was a. good battling result. At the time it felt either like a boring match or a tactical battle, and it was a new-ish Everton team. It also feels good cos I think it was a time I couldn't go to matches or watch anything live and it was a rare live match.
Thanks for reading.

Well Stuart McCall scored in a 1-1 draw but can’t remember the date, likewise Mick Madar scored in another 1-1 draw but I think that was at White Hart Lane but it was on TV, I watched it in a bar in Spain, and this was when we were struggling to stay up.

Surely the board don't turn up for this one. I am convinced that whenever they turn up for the first time, we'll lose the game. I'm picturing Kenwright wanting to be there to be the hero that masterminds us to another great escape against Bournemouth on the final day... please lord no.

We're not far from the 3 of them unveiling their own banner ..
'back the board'
'the good times are back'
'bill's good time blues'

etc etc

any other ideas

What banner would Kenwright, DBB, Moshiri have up under the director's box?

I was hoping Conte would still be in charge after hearing his rant after the Southampton match. I'm still hopeful though, but
that's all. It's not a must win, but it'll make things a lot easier if we do.
