It really isn't. If you knew anything about how our owners do their business, and anything about European Leagues, then you would not be making a statement like this. For example 2 of the new defensive players are in the who-scored Serie A team of the season. Not saying it will all gel, but the ingredients are there. Not a scooby-doo about today's game though.

Sounds like a lot of our fans are stuck on the M6 and won't make it for kick off. For any Everton fans travelling south for the next six months or so, avoid the M6 like the plague - or add at least a couple of hours for your journey. It's a nightmare with roadworks all round Birmingham *

I know it hasn't been announced yet, but if Kone starts today it's a kin disgrace that the manager has allowed us to go into the season with arguably the worst striker in our history leading the line on day one the new season.
