WE weren't that bad, our problem is the same as its been for the last 5 seasons or whatever, simply not clinical enough in front of goal. 22 shots and no goals is horrific.

we are playing like a mid to bottom of the table team currently im afraid to say , and god forbid if we get worse.
im dreading playing any of the top teams if this is what we are going to play like.

What a crap ref. Barks and Coleman were boss. Naisy continued to make a good impression. Jela and Kone were ok but not enough balls in. Ultimately we were unlucky not to win but we could've shown some urgency earlier in the game.

Garbage. Draws are not good enough at home. Fellaini playing with the sports page in front of him hoping to read he's just signed for United. Centre backs look out of sorts—surprised they didn't nick one and win it. Too much trying to be barca in front of Tim Howard and too much not knowing what to do in front of goal (I like distribution from the back but too often it was just wasting time). Not moving it quicker forward meant they always had defenders in position to blot out our attacks and close us down.

We don't seem to have a single combination of players that can a) provide a nicely weighted through ball to b) a pacey player that likes to run into space and can beat someone in a foot race.

We don't look like we are trying as hard as we did under Moyes. Also committing 1-3 players into the box when we have a corner? That tells you all you need to know. Not good enough by a country mile.

Everton expect to win at home. This was a timid, gutless, insipid affair.

As an emergency solution Fellaini should be dropped until he decides who he wants to play for.

Steady on here. Everyone's making out we're playing some absolutely dire football. We didn't. We just couldn't get the ball into the back of the net against a side who have a defensive record.

yeah but how do you manage to get the ball into the net???? Getting people into the box helps, and not for just the last 10 minutes.

We might aswell sell Baines cause his best qualities are being wasted. 4-5 times in the 2nd half he was in space to whip a cross in, and looks up to find 6 away shirts around 1 blue, so he has to pass it back.

Martinez really is baffling at the moment, has his team playing a brand of football they're not comfortable with and is seemingly delighted with the striking options at his disposal.
