After an impressive performance last night for the reserves, maybe it's time to let him start ?

Howard

Coleman Jags Distin Baines

Big Vic Arteta Neville Pienaar
Cahill
Saha

Sub; Heitinga, Beckford, Yakubu, Billy and Mucha

Too early for Anichebe to start I guess, not sure how long he was yesterday on the pitch, but if he was a starter and played over a hour it's too much to expect him to start again in a few days, when he is in process of building back his fitness.

The Nigerian played his first 90 minutes of football as Everton's second string drew 1-1 with Liverpool on Tuesday night, scoring a goal in the process.

O' you the yellow ball of magic......

Please fly in the top corner
May no strikers be needed
May no midfielders be needed
May no Hibbert be needed
Just fly in the back of the net.. FFS
Grant us that victory we so desperately need
In thy hope shall we remain if not the players'

I would like to see Becks and Yak start up front. They should get a run. I guess the problem is what to do with Cahill.

Nothing but a win is acceptable!

I wish in Poland this kind of drugs would be available, then I could also possibly think that Cahill as CM behind two forwards (especially, where both of them aren't known for harassing defenses when without possession) can work...

Idea, that it will be better for the team to push back our best scorer/forward/striker (to do a job, for which we have better suited players), is just plain Maradona-esque :).

3-1 to wba. we score early like we did monday, then proceed to play a 4-6-0 formation which leads to 95% possession for them, and ultimately a few goals. we mount a surge late (last 10 minutes when we finally decide a sub might help), which only produces a few off target shots from point blank range.

Day 1 of my bevvie fest started today before the game...i hope we bang the [Poor language removed] out of there so i can carry on suppin happily till sunday rather than miserably...

SMASH FEST! Wanna be givin it chops in the gwladys saturday

Am I the only one that has dreams of a front 3 consisting of:

Anichebe Yakubu Gueye

eh? That makes my mouth water. Hopefully something we could see in the future.

Yeah , maybe soon we will get a manager who would try that....From what I saw of Gueye in pre season he looked pretty promising...If only we had a team full of Timmy Cahills..The only Everton player at the moment earning his crust...

Would love to go to this, first proper 'cold' game, i get tanked on warm chang, have a heart attack breakfast, and a fat pie

and watch the blues dissapoint for me £40!

Yeah nothing beats the Top Balcony with a winter chill blowing in ya face....Chang Beer tho is really Gassy..I prefer Chips with curry sauce from one of the chippys on Goodison Road....I used to goto about 5 games a season As I live in Nottingham..But I stopped last season and won't go until either Moyes starts playing good attacking footbal (which won't happen) or we get a manager with some flair tactics...
