I wasn't going to predict this game in the predictor game as I thought I might jinx it. But I thought sod it, I fancy goals here and predicted us to win, er, 4-1

one of those teams was playing european football last year and one was in the championship. just shows how far we have fallen.
the comentater said it it in the first half , that everton play nice football but are predictable in every game .the same high pressure tactics employed by sunderland and bolton were also clearly working for west brom.
howard hibbert saha and heitinga ..... pathetic sub standard tosh , i wont be dissapointed if none of them ever play for us again.
the tactics ? well arteta and heitinga were too deep , neither pienaar or anichebe can cross (although they were our most direct players), and the whole team seems static and not close enough to each other , which meant passing was difficult and wba had lots of space to run into.
our only hope of any decent chances of actually winning a game seem to come from freekicks.
add to that the fact we cant score and keep letting goals in , i think we are a complete disaster.
worst result since arsenal stuffed us imo.

At least he was creating goal-scoring opportunities. There's this guy named Saha who probably gets paid 10 times what Jermaine does and basically is a black hole.

Heitinga, Arteta, Yakubu, Saha & Hibbert. I'd be considering giving them all a seriously long bollocking after that. Jags, Beckford & Distin were not good enough either but at least they tried. Pienaar, Rodwell, Cahill & Baines as usual come out of that with a little credit.
I'd have Mucha in for Howard against Chelsea too. Why not?

I think there are far more players who are more responsible for this decline, certainly not blaming Hibbert for anything.

It's not good enough for a centre forward to get himself into goalscoring situations and still not score.

hibbert done some good. but he clearly ended up being either skinned or on his backside plenty of times.

I try and judge everybody on merit and not by comparrison. Today and in many other performances, Hibbert is very average at best with the odd good game. He was 2nd best against West Brom forwards today almost everytime. Watch the game again. No, you don't need to do that!
