I hardly ever get to watch any Everton games as I have no foxtel sports at the moment. I rely on Toffeeweb for match reports. To say the least, reading this match thread.... my heart is broken.

On a positive note, this thrashing is what Everton needs. This is a WAKE UP call. I take comfort in the fact that it is better to lose 4-1 once than to lose 4 times. The score is UGLY but hopefully this will be the catalyst for Everton management, coaching staff and players to rethink and regroup.

I am one Australian who will pray VERY HARD for Cahill to miss the Asian Cup. Boy, this game really showed how much Everton need him.

I still believe Everton will go to Europe. I still believe!

I thought it was an excellent game, I was surprised with the final score, I feel we could have made it a bit closer, maybe 2-4 would have been a fairer scoreline.

I thought Saha was superb, really put himself about and Johnny H was certainly showing those snides in the centre of the park, he was really unlucky with those 5 yard passes, those 1s are tough to pull off in todays modern game.

I thought Arteta was unlucky with the red card, I mean it was only a little stamp, borderline assualt, Ref could have turned a blind eye in my book, but there you go.

Overall a pleasing days football, with Everton showing the World that we are still a major force and possibly some peoples outside tip for the title.

In other news, not sure if this has been mentioned, cos I be fcked if you think im reading any of this [Poor language removed], but on my way to the Ground, well lets call it Hell for Today, on my way into Hell I saw Kenwrong on his way out, he was getting driven out and had his head in his hands, didnt look good, how fitting that most of the 1s left behind spent 90 minutes with their heads in their hands.

Viva La Everton

Hmm, wonder what that was about then? Moyes saying he wants £10m to leave.

Just remembered why I love this guy

Here's how it needs to be.

Moyes knows we've got a squad now. USE IT !!!

Time for players to sit and other players to get a chance to shine and turn this around while we still have half a season to go. That means EVERY player is in the mix.

Time for Billy, Gueye, Anichebe, Beckford, and anyone else not regularly starting to get their shot. If they take their chance, then great, they can keep their place. But Moyes has to start rotating until he gets the right fit and the players must know that they WILL BE DROPPED if they can't produce.

What's the point of having a bench if you don't use it, not just as subs, but as starters also? This has always been a weakness of Moyes.

(EDIT: As far as I'm concerned, Arteta and Fellaini can sit, even after their suspensions are over. They've really dropped us in the grease.)

Maybe kenwright had had an offer from one of his pretend interested parties on buying the club and philip green said no

A 4-1 home loss to West Brom is pretty much as low as you can get.

it isnt that bad

if we keep moyes we will beat them 4-1 at their place.

Its a certainty. We cant do better than Moyes, we owe him so much.

He was a top manager and came to us as a favour.

We have caused him to win nothing in 9 years and play boring predictable football.
