I understand. Bet you buzz more off a deserved win with style than a defensive performance. I suppose thats what I should have said in the first place....more of a buzz.

Oh aye, the first half against Newcastle earlier in the season was a thing of beauty. However, NO team can play like that for 90 minutes 38-50 times a season.

Crap is how spurs played vs us, crap is how chelsea played vs us mate, both games we lost, i will take 'playing crap' if it keeps getting the wins whilst the opponent hardly having the ball and not creating anything against us
Great point. You can't have it both ways. You can't criticise us for losing pretty and still criticise us when we win ugly without admitting you're an unrealistic perfectionist. I agree long-term trends of poor play need to be addressed but the odd game, especially when you still deliver a victory, can be glossed over.

He had a chest infection. Looks like Bobby made the right decision.

Had to stay at home due to illness myself today though, Dads not long just rang me saying my dads mates car has had his back window smashed in during the game. Pathetic.

I had my back light smashed, but my car was on my drive - 240 odd miles from the ground

our corners are shocking, think last time we scored off one was lukaku vs lpool. just seems a boot into the middle and no real plan or movement, need to play better next week to get anything, cant see arsenal resting players, they look unlikely to win league and out of champs league really so last chance for them to get silverware, hopefully jags will be back and would sooner have mirallas in than duelofeu

Pienaar and Baines boss, Stones good, Distin outstanding, Deulofeu hyper tosh.
Harsh that. Reckon he gave us another dimension personally. He's the only player who likes dealing with defenders directly around the 18 yard box and he's always capable of a goal. Came close once or twice.

If Naismith had got a positive mention also, I would have repped the bejesus of of this post

I was going to mention Naismith ffs! Think he did well. Worked hard and made all the right runs while winning headers as usual, but combined that with a few nice touches and held it up well.

McCarthy was fantastic as well, forgot about him. He's everywhere. Doesn't stop running the big freak.

He was dreadful, mate. Aside from the one where he came close where he did well I can't remember him doing anything but give the ball away really, aside from the one where he ran the length of the pitch to make a block clearance. Which was boss and probably wouldn't have happened a few months ago. So many times he had the opportunity to pass and fannied about with it instead.

so apart from being an inch away from scoring a goal of the season candidate and stopping a certain goal from Noble when he tracked back 40y to make a Barry like stop which we all lauded barry for he did nothing?

He was on the pitch for 73 minutes, like. And it wouldn't have been a goal of the season candidate. Plus, more to the point, it didn't go in. I've just lauded him for it, by the way, in case you didn't notice the laudingness.
