we have been winning games, but not by been way better than the opposition, dont think the performances in those wins has been by any means spectacular, but we were getting the Job done

Perhaps but his speed down the lines eases pressure.
What other shot?Name the other shot then.....
Yep thisThis year is already worst then last !!!!
We were crap tonight but people losing their minds over one result and poor (admittedly turbo crap) performance jeezs
perspective please
And we bounced back from that with a solid December, we bounced back from United by beating Sheff Utd.Leeds?
And the United cup game and this one tonight shows how lacking in focus and self belief they are.
We're miles off being a top team in the making. It takes mental strength as well as good players (and we clearly dont have enough of them)
By style of play we are not in the top half.Got carried away with them 4 straight wins to be honest.
We are a 7th place team at best, Carlo needs more time.
Onwards and upwards.
Is there such a thing as celebrating too much during Covid timesI wonder if the club lets the players celebrate New Year a bit too much?
I remember Leicester last season (or one before?) We were utter dreadful.
Always look like a side who had been up to midnight on the sherry.
Actually think we missed Iwobi running at them tonight. He does panic defenders. But he can create space for others. Their defence had a pretty easy time tonight...Gomes looked comfortable in that position a little further forward, be interesting if Ancelotti tries that.
In that situation, we really needed players who break the defensive lines by running past the opposition and drawing defenders. I think Doucoure tried that but love him or loathe him, Iwobi is that type as is Gordon in his best form.
Bang on, mate, couldn't agree more with the second paragraph. I might be naive but I do believe that the attitude of fans has a role to play as well. Hope you have a great first weekend of the year neverthelessNo point bothering mate. Its human nature, every club does it.
I agree that this game has to just be treated as one of those though. The positives this season is that we have a solidity which works well at teams who come at us. We still need to solve the quality issue and thats where we are. And until we do then invariably we will have moments of inconsistency in the best league in the world.
Playing out of position at the mo. Last few games has held his own.Shouldn't be looking to ease pressure at home to West Ham but I see your point.
But he's not going to do much with it in a tight space is he? So when we're building attacks, he offers very little. Not his fault, just is what it is.
I agree about singling out Coleman, but he along with many others on the pitch gave unacceptable performances. Yes some fans get carried away with a couple of wins, however what we are all sick of is abject performances like this when we had the chance to go second.
