The way we play, very defensively the likes of Richarlison/Bernard/Iwobi/sigurdsson have to step up and have of sorts. But against a more defensive team like today Bernard and particularly Richarlison never really turned up. When we play open football we'll concede a lot of goals and if we don't score then will get beat, Leeds and Manu at home in the league. Ancelotti has sort of found the winning formula (defensive), 4 straight wins, would suggest that but it has to be horses for courses, and ,now we've got Rodriquez back and Gomes looking sharp we should be a bit more adventurous.

Certainly not by starting that dwarf.

Dave I’m not having a go at you, and I agree he gets pushed around, but he was the only one on there before James who had a bleeding brain. It was like watching a game played purely by defenders. Richy did nothing, DCL was getting pulled further back, and as I said at least he had a shot which is more than anyone else did......

We have lost a few matches this season in the last five minutes and it can be frustrating but I don't want to get all negative on the team. We have done well, had a good run in December. Some of our players are getting healthy again, they will be in form soon and so hopefully we will get back to winning by next match.
See if you still feel the same way in Summer 2025 when we're getting "Happy 30th Everton" off every Kopite and Cenk is our number one striker after DCL fooks off to Chelsea next year.

I must say it is funny watching our fans go from thinking the team is the greatest to absolutely hating every single one of them.
said 7th, 6th at best, no amount of wins in a row will change that, and tonight's type of performance make's it even more so, had not just a chance to be 2nd but create a little gap to behind us,now teams have games in hand and can overtake us, with 2 awkward away games comming up at wolves and villa in league

Well I don't think we need to worry about any imminent Barcelona bids right now put it that way.

There is nobody to drop him for to be honest. You would just be replacing him with players who have failed time and time again.
Siggy out wide for the moment, with Gomes as a genuine 10(you'd get an hour out of him. Put some pace on the right side.

Typical old Everton, awful performance and get beat by a fluke.
The Ref was awful, he gave us nothing, corner, Mina gets done for banging to to a player. West Ham free kick, 1 minute later, West Ham player buts Davies, Free kick to West Ham

Massive overreaction here, we’re still 4th in the league and have just had our best start after 15 games for 16 years. Tonight was dreadful, we still lack a top quality cm in games like this who can drive us forward. Coleman is finished, completely pointless, I don’t blame him you can see he tries to make runs but his legs just won’t do it, Sigurdsson is useless in games against a low block, Davies not good enough, Bernard not good enough to be a starter and Richarlison is still too predictable without anyone overlapping. Still furious at the decision to take off DCL for Tosun though, deserved to lose for that sub alone. Win against Wolves and fans will be claiming how good we are again, the squad isn’t top quality and going to have games like that with these players. We go again and things could be a lot worse at this stage of the season
