Had a bad feeling about this match today,
We are missing a solid look about us even when we are playing ok, we will take a bad hiding soon if it carries on.

If Silva doesn't start Bernard and Richarlison together he needs fired. Our most creative and threatening players. Drop Walcott and DCL.

Very disappointing performance on the whole. Digne, Bernard and Walcott looked good. Siggy, apart from his goal, was poor. Tosun had 2 chances he did nothing with and offered nothing. Oumar did more than Tosun in his first 5 minutes on the pitch. Pickford had probably his worst game for us. Schneiderlin shouldn't have started and was rightly substituted before half time. Idrissa needs some shooting practice. I could go on but it's turning into a whinge fest. Onwards and upwards Blues, tomorrow's another day.

Wow. It was bad but some of the reactions forecasting doom for the rest of the season are way OTT

Put Mina in that side with those tactics and he had better be fantastic because he would be exposed all the time - Zouma and Holgate were bad today but they had no cover and only rarely were Kenny and Digne even in a position to help them out. Better teams than West Ham would have given us an absolute shoeing.

Gomes on the other hand is the key and has to be given time because we have noone in midfield that deserves to keep their place at the moment, however we are set up.

Personally I'd have three at the back (Zouma / Mina / Holgate), the two full backs (Digne and Coleman), Schneiderlin and Gomes in the middle and a front three of Richarlison, Tosun and Walcott.

Agree Eggs. Kenny didn't play well, but didn't play badly. Same for Digne and Bernard.

For the entire second half we persisted going down the right when it was obvious our left side was stronger offensively (and most likely defensively).

Top game today. Digne impressed. The rest of the defence were anonymous (like Tosun). Walcott has a fk’ing manbun (going against the grain of Evertonianism).

Generallt shabite. Good that I could enjoy Lewis Hamilton winning the Singapore GP so that the day wasn’t a total sporting write off.

In conclusion, as ever, I’m happy as long as Everton stay up and I can enjoy other sports where my representatives do me proud.

Most teams have improved their station we seem to be standing still. 10th is about right until lackluster play and defensive errors are behind us.

Genuinely thought he was awful all game, runs around like a headless chicken. Never seems to be in the correct position.


Defensively he is OK. But that isn't good enough.
