A very valid point, but I think some have shown enough - albeit what seems like an age ago - to suggest there’s still a player in there.

Gana is the best example that comes to mind of someone that looks appalling now, but was class just over a year ago. It may be his Villa season and first one for us was a fluke, but I wouldn’t write him off yet.

There’s degrees of being upset with them too. DCL and Davies may not make it here but they’re very young and don’t need to get pelters. Gana cost what, 6 million? He’s a limited player but has been well worth the money we paid for him. It’s guys like Schneiderlin (today was hardly his first terrible game) and Tosun (couldn’t finish if the net was 50 yards wide) and even Sigurdsson who cost much more and have offered much less that I’m most tired of. The only one of these underperforming big ticket players who look like they might come good is Keane.

work in progress, it will take time -can be used so much for us and has been for years,how long can that pharse be used really though for some people all over the net that ive seen say it,surprise wins will be ones we actually win,never mind win v teams we should do-as we will struggle v the better teams for now and for years to come it seems like,injuries or not,players should be ready and show passion and fight -so many times the better players we get the worst we seem to do,its always must like when we have no choice on players we can pick that we go and win etc

Generally we’ve done well and I expect we have a decent season ahead of us. But, basically, our entire team is total garbage and as long as we stay in the premier league, I’m generally happy as an Evertonian.

Meanwhile, I get to enjoy quality content like Formula 1, meaning I don’t have to bother being an Evertonian.

You can kung fu kick Walcotts head and get a yellow card, Richarlison gets 3 weeks not being able to exercise his profession because of a little head tap on a guy clearly winding him up on purpose and creating conflict. I hate this sometimes. The court should have a common sense rule before applying all this black and white automatic bs.

We can't play three at the back because at least one (Jagielka, Holgate, Keane) will be an absolute liability and cost us a goal a game. We can't afford to be carrying a centre back just to play a system.

... but it is the lack of that centre back that affects everything else in the middle of the park. When they make mistakes as a two they cannot recover from them, because there is only ever going to be one person able to help - and that is unlikely because of how far away that person is.

What we are doing now does not work, so we should try something else.

Well improve once everyone is back but this is shocking atm. Defence is worse now than it ever was under Martinez not even arsed. Our 3 strikers are all absolute donkeys. I like tosun but he is just to slow for this league yo be played as a lone striker. Niasse isn't a footballer and dcl just gives the ball away that's literally all he does

Is it me or do people think we’re relying too heavily on Mina coming in and doing well? Who do we pair him with? Zouma isn’t good enough, Jagielka sadly years have caught up, Holgate as much as I want the lad to do well he’s weak and needs to toughen up physically, Leaves us with Keane? .... I think Bernard, Siggy, Richarlson, Walcott are great four options there but it’s around them it’s worrying.
